Stray Kids is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2017 reality show of the same name. The group is composed of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. Originally a nine-piece group, member Woojin left due to undisclosed personal reasons in October 2019. Stray Kids released their pre-debut extended play (EP) Mixtape in January 2018 and officially debuted on March 25 with the EP I Am Not.

The group Stray Kids thanked their fans for celebrating the fourth anniversary of their debut.

K-pop boy band Stray Kids are celebrating four years since their debut and each member has written a message to their fans, known collectively as Stay, thanking them for their support.

In the blink of an eye, the K-pop group are four years into their career. The eight-member band debuted on 25 March 2018 after being formed by JYP Entertainment and are one of the company’s two remaining boy bands alongside 2PM.

And Stray Kids weren’t going to celebrate their milestone without thanking their global fan base.

The original nine-member group was formed on JYP reality survival show Stray Kids. Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N and Woojin came out victorious.

Woojin left the group in 2019 due to “personal circumstances”, as revealed in an official statement.

The eight singers went on to win first place in Kingdom: Legendary War, beating BtoB, The Boyz, iKon and SF9.

Stray Kids made their musical bow with Hellevator, before releasing official debut song District 9.

Since then, they’ve released numerous EPs and two albums. Singles include Back Door, God’s Menu, and Thunderous. 2021 track Noeasy made JYP history as the company’s first album to surpass one million sales on the Gaon chart.

Twitter has been flooded with fan messages and #BlessingsWait4SKZ since the boys tweeted their messages at 12pm KST.

BANG CHAN

LEE KNOW
“Stay, it has already been four years? Is this reality? Thank you for coming all the way here with us for four years and please continue to take care of us! Let’s make lots of great memories.”

CHANGBIN
“Our Stay, who stayed by our sides until we got to our four-year anniversary, thank you so so much. You’re reliable and I love you! Please continue to become a Binnie-lover. Binnie only looks at Stay.”

HYUNJIN
“Hello, it’s Hyunjin! Four years (have) already passed. We shared so much happiness and joy together. The third anniversary feels like yesterday so if it’s this fast, I think we’ll be able to be together forever. I’ll cherish all the memories until now and and I’ll work hard so we can continue to spend our days together. I love you.”

HAN
“I think we were able to grow well until now because Stay always supported us and loved us. I kind of feel like an adult thinking it’s a fourth anniversary but I’ll always be Stay’s baby quokka. I’ll work hard and also work hard to continue to be a quokka Stays can be proud of! I always love you and am thankful!”

FELIX
“Stay, congratulations on the fourth anniversary. Wow, as much as I was happy for so long and you were with us, thank you for healing us so much. You’re my first priority. We’ll continue to work hard, please wait for us.”
