According to the agency Abyss Company on the 17th, Urban Zakapa released the jacket image of the new album "Parting Star" on its official social network service (SNS) and announced its comeback at 6 p.m. on the 25th of this month.
It is the first new song in more than two years and five months since the single "Seoul Night" was released in 2019.
Earlier, member Kwon Soon-il released some of the songs and lyrics of the new song through his SNS.
The released content contains the lyrics, "I know you've changed / but I'll just be here / looking at you waiting for a breakup / I don't know, I'm looking forward to Urban Zakapa's unique emotional song," the agency said.
Urban Zakapa, who debuted in 2009 with "Coffee Drink," was loved for its appealing vocals and lyrical melodies and released several hit songs such as "My Love," "I Don't Love You," and "When we were two."
Urban Zakapa is scheduled to perform at a national tour concert in December along with its new album.
They will meet fans at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul, from December 3 to 5, and at KBS Busan Hall in Busan from December 18 to 19. This concert is the first time in about two years since the 10th anniversary of the national tour concert in the summer of 2019.
