[BBANGYA NEWS | Reporter Mo Mo] CJ ENM and HYBE are looking for the next generation of K-pop girl groups to succeed boy group ENHYPEN.

The two companies' joint project "I-LAND 2" began recruiting applicants by releasing a teaser video on the 27th. The girl group, which was born through "I-Land 2," works as a member of Belief Lab with ENHYPEN, a group born in "I-Land 1."

Regardless of nationality, any woman born after January 1, 2000, and before December 31, 2009, can apply for this audition. The application period is from noon on September 27 to midnight on October 10 in Korean time. Support is available through the document application menu on the Biliprap online website.

Auditions will be held sequentially in seven regions around the world, starting with Korea in October, including Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Thailand, and the United States. The broadcast is scheduled to air in the first half of next year.

Iland, which was broadcast on the music channel Mnet from June to September last year, is an observational reality program that contains the birth process of the next generation of K-POP artists. It is a joint project that combines CJ ENM's IP planning and production capabilities and Hive's production know-how, which includes global artists BTS, Seventeen, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. During the broadcast, "I-Land" recorded more than 44 million cumulative global online live viewers, including YouTube, digital clip views of 186 million views, and participated in global voting in 181 countries and regions around the world.

Expectations are high on whether the next generation of K-POP artists will be born to succeed ENHYPEN through CJ ENM and Hive's first joint girl group project.
