JTBC's 10th-anniversary special "No Longer Human " (directed by Heo Jin-ho and Park Hong-soo, screenplay by Kim Ji-hye, production by C-Jes Entertainment, and Drama House Studio) released a faint and heartbreaking teaser poster on the 14th. Indescribable emotions in empty eyes heighten curiosity about the narratives of "negative" and "strong."
"No Longer Human" tells the story of ordinary people who have been walking to the light as best as they can, suddenly realizing that they have become nothing.
Jeon Do-yeon played the role of "Bujeong," a ghostwriter who wanted to become a writer. She has lost her reason for living facing herself who has tried her best but failed on the downhill of life. Ryu Jun-yeol will transform into a role service operator "Kangjae" who wants to become rich. He's a man who takes risks to take off the genes of poverty and climb higher. Dreaming of a wealthy life, I searched for a shortcut, but he lost my way in front of a steep uphill road without accomplishing anything.
"No Longer Human" is a collaboration of director Huh Jin-ho, the master of Korean melodramatic films such as "Forbidden Dream," "Deokhye," "One Fine Spring Day," and "Christmas in August," and Kim Ji-hye, the writer of the films "Hope," "My Love, My Bride" and "Architecture 101."
Meanwhile, JTBC's 10th-anniversary special 'No Longer Human' will premiere in September.
