According to Park Seo-joon's agency Awesome ENT on the 8th, the number of dramas starring Park Seo-joon has risen by as many as five in the top 20 real-time rankings of Korean drama DVD sales on the Japanese Amazon site. As of the day, "Hwarang" ranked first and second, followed by "The Witch's Love," "She Was Pretty," "Fight For My Way" and "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?"
In particular, "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?" swept from first to third place in the sales ranking of new Korean dramas. The agency said, "This is the result of reflecting the popularity of Park Seo-joon, who has secured a solid fan base regardless of gender in Japan, where the DVD market is active."
According to the "2020 Top 10" released by Japan's Netflix last year, "Itaewon Class" ranked second and "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" ranked ninth.
As evidenced by this popularity, Park Seo-joon's 10th-anniversary untact fan meeting "Park Seo-joon, Comma," which was held in May, was exclusively broadcast live on Japan's KNTV and additional subtitles were organized.
Park Seo-joon said, "I realize that the works that appeared are loved around the world through various platforms."
Meanwhile, Park Seo-joon is currently filming the film 'Concrete Utopia' and 'Dream.'
