Pre-orders for "THE ALBUM" PHOTOBOOK [LIMITED EDITION] to commemorate BLACKPINK's 5th anniversary began at 10 a.m. today (7th).
This photobook, which is part of BLACKPINK's '4+1 PROJECT', will be produced in limited quantity. In addition to the photo book, the double-sided history poster set, sticker set, and photo card set, which recorded BLACKPINK's debut to the present day of 2021, were included in the [4+1] Special Gift Case, adding to the meaning of the fifth anniversary of their debut.
The photobook was filled with unreleased images of BLACKPINK's first full album, "How You Like That," "Ice Cream" and "Lovesick Girls," with a total of 208 pages. It also has a variety of behind-the-scenes images of the jacket shooting site and the music video set, increasing the value of its collection.
"THE ALBUM" topped iTunes album charts in 57 countries, including the U.S., and ranked second on the U.S. Billboard 200 and the U.K. official charts, breaking the top ranking of K-pop girl groups. In addition, the album has sold more than 1.3 million copies, becoming the first million-seller by a K-pop girl group (based on the Hanteo/Gaon Chart).
YG earlier announced that BLACKPINK's "4+1 PROJECT" was in operation. One of them, "BLACKPINK THE MOVIE," is scheduled to be screened in CGV nationwide and more than 100 countries around the world in August.
