"Escape from Mogadishu" is a 1991 film about the escape of people isolated from the civil war in Escape from Mogadishu, Somalia.
"Escape from Mogadishu" will increase the audience's immersion through IMAX, including the exotic scenery of 100% Morocco's location, realistic civil war and isolation situations, and the desperate and urgent escape sequence.
In the released IMAX special poster, an escape sequence that leads to the killing part of "Escape from Mogadishu" appears.
Dexter Studio, which is in charge of producing "Escape from Mogadishu," has hosted the first IMAX release worldwide for "Along with the Gods" and the first IMAX release for 2019 for "Exit".
IMAX Entertainment Chairman Megan Colligan, who decided to release "Escape from Mogadishu," said, "Through IMAX, which provides the world's largest and most immersive movie viewing experience, director Ryu Seung-wan can present "Escape from Mogadishu" to the audience more intensely." Meanwhile, "Escape from Mogadishu," starring actors Kim Yoon-seok, Jo In-sung and Heo Joon-ho, will be released on July 28.
