On March 31, Woollim Entertainment said, “First of all, I am sincerely grateful to the fans who cherished and supported Infinite. Infinite members Jang Dong-woo and Lee Seong-yeol, who have been with us for the past 11 years, announced that the exclusive contract with our company has ended at the end of this month.”
INFINITE is a Korean boy group under Woollim Entertainment, which debuted on June 9, 2010, and is the first idol group launched by Woollim Entertainment since its establishment in 2003.
It started as a group of 7 but was reorganized into a group of 6 when former member Hoya withdrew in 2017.
After signing a contract in 2019, L is currently serving in the Marine Corps.
On the other hand, Woollim Entertainment said, “In addition, with Infinite leader Kim Seong-gyu, whose exclusive contract has expired, on March 29th, the single album “Won't Forget You” was released and a beautiful companion was ended. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Kim Seong-gyu, who ended his 11 years with Woollim.”
As a result, only Nam Woo-hyun and Lee Seong-jong remain in Woollim. As each of the members scattered, many expected Infinite to be disbanded. Accordingly, Infinite's leader Kim Seong-gyu reassured fans' anxiety by revealing the position that “it is not disbanding”.
