[BBANGYA NEWS｜Jisoo Lee] SOMI’s new song will be produced by hitmakers of BLACKPINK’s ‘How You Like That’.
SOMI released the teaser image of the upcoming single via official social media. According to the image, the new song ‘What You Waiting For’ was written and composed by Teddy, the CEO of THE BLACK LABEL and producer of BLACKPINK’s hits including ‘DDU-DU-DDU-DU’, ‘How You Like That’ and ‘BOOMBAYAH’.
Danny Chung who wrote lyrics for ‘How You Like That’ as well as R.Tee and 24 who composed the song also collaborated on ‘What You Waiting For’. What’s more, SOMI also participated in lyrics and song-writing process of this song! ‘What You Waiting For’, SOMI’s second single following last year’s debut single ‘Birthday’ will be released at 6PM on July 22.
