[BBANGYA NEWS｜Chalie Park] NEW and SUNWOO of THE BOYZ reportedly asked website managers of a popular K-POP online community to delete controversial posts about them.
A netizen posted an article on June 18 with several captured images of an online K-POP celebrity community, saying that the articles she wrote about NEW and SUNWOO of THE BOYZ got deleted from the site. The reason stated in the notice is due to request from rightful person, who in this case is no other than SUNWOO or NEW. When the user asked ‘the rightful person who requested deletion of post’ was whether the agency or the member himself, the site replied that it’s the member himself and they would state the name of the agency if it was the agency who requested deletion.
THE BOYZ is a 11-membered K-POP boy group under Cracker Entertainment debuted in 2017. In 2018 SUNWOO was severely accused of sexual harassment as his remark about a girl on a social media as a trainee surfaced. NEW was accused of disrespect towards fans when he said that he “does not remember 5 months as THE BOYZ.” THE BOYZ is currently appearing in Mnet audition program Road To Kingdom.
