[BBANGYA NEWS｜Chalie Park] Jungyeon of TWICE spoke up about cervical disk herniation she is suffering from in a live on June 8.
She said that she recognized about the disease while she was filming the music video of ‘More and More’ when her neck ached.
It was only a week before the group’s comeback that she realized about the disease, and she was absent during most of dance practice due to hospitalization.
She then explained the reason why there’s no individual footage of her in music shows; she hesitated show imperfect choreography to ONCEs, so she and her agency decided to ask broadcast network to not film her.
Jungyeon is currently getting outpatient treatment while participating in promotional activities as a member of the group.
TWICE recently released nineth EP ‘More and More’, the album sold over 330,000 copies in the first week of release.
