[BBANGYA NEWS|Yulia Cho] IZ*ONE’s Asia tour documentary film Eyes on Me : The Movie recorded the highest ticketing rate of the week, even before its premiere on June 10(KST)
The movie follows IZ*ONE’s journey to the group’s first Asia tour, on and behind the performance stage.
As of June 9, the movie is ranked at no.1 on box offices with over 11,912 pre-ticketing rate in just 5 days since the tickets opened, beating rivals like Intruder starring Song Jihyo and Innocence starring Bae Jongok.
What’s more, it even beat The Aeronauts, a film starring Eddie Redmayne! On CGV’s official website it topped ticketing rate chart with 26.3% pre-ticketing.
IZ*ONE’s fans have much expectation about the film that was originally scheduled to premiere last November but got delayed due to rigging scandal of Produce 48, the program behind IZ*ONE’s formation.
The movie premieres on June 10 nationwide, and on CGV theatres the movie will be screened in 4DX, Screen X and 4DX with Screen X formats. Global release date of the film is yet to be announced.
