[BBANGYA NEWS | Reporter Choi ] Group Stray Kids' Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin were promoted to regular members in 2023 of the Korea Music Copyright Association (hereinafter referred to as the Haneum Jeohyup), the largest music copyright organization in Korea.

Han, Bang Chan, and Changbin are members of the boy group Stray Kids and are members of the group's own production team '3RACHA'.

Stray Kids' mini albums 'ODDINARY' and 'MAXIDENT', which they made, topped the Billboard 200 last year.

This year's list of those who were promoted to regular members also included Jannabi Choi Jeong-hoon, Minji Sean (Kim Min-ji), and 24 (Seo Jeong-hoon).

Jannabi Choi Jeong-hoon participated in composing, writing lyrics, and arranging songs such as 'For Lovers Who Hesitate' and 'The Hot Summer Night is gone and what remains is ugly'.

MinGtion composed Red Velvet's 'Queendom' and Taeyeon's 'A Poetry Called You'.

The association is the largest music copyright association in Korea, and as of last month, about 47,000 composers and lyricists are registered as members.

Every year, among the associate members, 22 people in popular music and 3 people in non-pop music (pure, Korean traditional music, children's songs, and religion) are promoted to full members based on the highest copyright fee.

"We will work harder to protect the rights and interests of musicians," said the president of the association.
