tvN's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sacred Idol' depicts the adaptation to the entertainment world of 'Lambrery' (Kim Min-gyu), a high priest who became an unknown idol in Korea overnight. It is based on a Naver web novel/webtoon. For unknown reasons, Kim Min-gyu plays an active role as a high priest in the fantasy world, 'Rambory', who wakes up in the body of 'Woo Yeon-woo', a member of Korea's unknown idol 'Wild Animal'. Go Bo-gyeol took on the role of 'Kim Dal', who became Woo Yeon-woo's fan and manager.
Along with this, the main poster released shows Kim Min-kyu and Go Bo-gyeol surrounded by flowers in full bloom. Go Bo-gyeol puts a shining silver crown on Kim Min-gyu's head. The crown is a medium that reminds us of the authority of the high priest and the success of the idol at the same time.
The contrasting facial expressions of the two also draw attention. Kim Min-gyu looks bewildered as if he can't believe the situation where he suddenly became an unknown idol in the high priest's office. On the other hand, Go Bo-gyeol is showing eyes full of confidence that he will definitely make his idol a success.
Meanwhile, tvN's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sacred Idol' will be broadcast for the first time on February 15th at 10:30 pm.
