[BBANGYA NEWS｜Jisoo Lee] Phone grips designed by SM artists for ‘SMile for You’, a donation campaign by SM Entertainment in collaboration with Unicef Korea office, recorded sellout in just three hours.
The original goal for the crowd funding campaign was 50 million won according to the page, but the actual amount far exceeded the original goal, grossing 150 million won in total. Second opening of sales starts from 11 a.m KST May 18.
Any person donated over 170,000 won is given two phone grips, an official ‘SMile for You’ grip and a phone grip of choice designed by a favorite SM artist. All the artists signed to SM including BoA, TVXQ, EXO, NCT, Red Velvet and Taemin reportedly designed their own phone grip. Proceeds from the campaign goes to Unicef and will be used for musical education of youth in Vietnam.
