[BBANGYA NEWS｜Jisoo Lee] Taeyang of BIGBANG is launching his first-ever exclusive solo documentary ‘WHITE NIGHT’. The first episode of the docu-series will be aired from 7 p.m. KST May 18, 2020 in celebration of TAEYANG’s birthday. A total of 8 episodes will be released every Monday and Thursday for over 4 weeks. Fans can watch the episodes on BIG BANG and Taeyang’s official YouTube channel.
Having the same name as Taeyang’s last studio album released in 2017, it’s a record of 215 days, shining light on DONG YOUNGBAE up close and personal, rather than him on stage as TAEYANG the artist. The docu-series follows Taeyang’s journey from preparation of the last studio album to solo tour, and finally to enlistment. With it, Taeyang discloses his frustration over identity and values as an artist and human.
Taeyang is a member of BIGBANG that debuted in 2006. As a soloist, he released several mega hit songs including ‘Wedding Dress’, ‘RINGA LINGA’, ‘Eyes, Nose, Lips’ and ‘WAKE ME UP’.
